Question:
Recently the question arose: Do Novell's TSR's (IPX, NET? and
NetBIOS) need to use their environment space once they become
resident? And, if not, do they free up this environment space?
Answer:
386MAX Professional allows you to use this environment space if
it is not needed, but warns against using it if it is needed, as
serious problems may arise as a result. For NetWare 3.0 and
below, we don't need it, but we don't free it up. Therefore,
386MAX will use it if you enable it. The next release of the
NetWare shell files will free it up.
